Kos along with Chris Savage’s powerboat filming expertise, were able to provide
The EON film crew with stills and a versatile camera platform for the high-speed action scenes on the Thames from MI6, through Towerbridge to docklands and the Millennium Dome.
Chosen for its unique camera boat design the powerful Kos Intercepter provided a Golden eye view of the action as they Thunderballed up and down the Thames at 40 knots driving through machine gun fire, explosions and Dr. No’s what else!
The Bond shooting schedule was a punishing one with stunt driving down the Thames sometimes 12 hours a day for nearly 6 months. With more than 200 experts working on set.
“Kos’ boat was pushed to the limit most of the time” said Chris “carving 90 degree turns flat out around Dockland canals, literally a few feet from Pierce Brosnan driving the Bond jet boat and the Sunseeker stacked with missiles was exhilarating to say the least!
